3-Way Calling
You can talk with two people at the same time with a three-way
conversation on your wireless phone. Airtime and other charges,
which may include toll or long distance charges, will apply
for all simultaneous calls until you end one call.
Not available in some areas. Airtime applies to all simultaneous
calls and to forwarded/transferred calls even if you send
the call to wireline telephones.
411 Connect®
Directory assistance with automatic call completion. An operator
will assist you when you request numbers, addresses and information
for anything from restaurants and movies to the nearest florist.
Simply press 4-1-1 and SEND from your handset. $1.49
per call plus airtime.
Per-call charge for 411 Connect may vary when your phone’s
banner displays “Extended Network” or “Roaming.”
Basic Voice Mail
Voice Mail takes a caller’s message when you can’t
answer the phone. You will receive a message-waiting indicator
to let you know that a message has been left for you. Basic
Voice Mail includes
20 messages
3 minute maximum per message
21-day retention
For more capacity, you should consider signing up for Enhanced
Voice Mail.
Not available in some areas. Airtime applies to message retrievals
from your wireless phone. IN Calling does not apply to Voice
Mail set-up or message retrievals. Voice Mailboxes not initialized
within 60 days (45 days in some markets) of feature activation
will be canceled. Your Verizon Wireless Voice Mailbox is not
password protected until you initialize it by following the
tutorial prompts to select a password and record a voice signature
and personalized greeting. Verizon Wireless is not liable
for missed Voice Mail messages or deletions of messages from
your Voice Mailbox, even if you've saved them.
Call Forwarding
Forward your calls to another phone number, including your
home or office number. Your wireless phone will not ring until
you deactivate the service. Airtime applies to forwarded/transferred
calls even if you send the call to wireline telephones. When
forwarding calls to phone numbers outside your local calling
area, you’ll be billed for any toll, long distance,
and airtime charges incurred. Additional per-minute charges
may apply to all forwarded calls. This feature is also known
as "Immediate Call Forwarding".
Not available in some areas. Airtime applies to all simultaneous
calls and to forwarded/transferred calls even if you send
the call to wireline telephones. When activated, all calls
will be forwarded to another number until deactivated. The
wireless phone will not ring. Long distance charges may be
incurred. Airtime charges may apply. Customers will be charged
for one minute of airtime when activating Call Forwarding.
Call Waiting
This feature lets you know when another caller is trying to
reach you while you’re on another call. You will hear
a short tone. After you hear the Call Waiting tone, you’ll
have approximately 30 seconds to answer before the second
caller hears a standard message or is forwarded to your Voice
Mailbox. If you answer the call, airtime and other usual charges
will apply to both calls until you end one call.
Not available in some areas. Airtime applies to all simultaneous
calls and to forwarded/transferred calls even if you send
the call to wireline telephones.
Caller ID/Caller ID Blocking
Caller ID allows you to see the caller's phone
number before you take the call. Caller ID may display the number
of the person calling on your wireless phone (for all unblocked
numbers). It may also display the name of the person if you’ve
stored it in your phone’s memory. Calls can usually be
returned by pressing one button.
Caller ID Blocking allows you to block your
number from being displayed through Caller ID, and can either
be done permanently or temporarily.
Caller ID is not available on all calls, on all equipment
or in all areas.

Sign up for and maintain two years of service on a digital
plan of $34.99 or higher to qualify for a free phone up to
a $50 or $100 value, depending on the monthly access of your
plan, or receive a credit of the same amount toward the purchase
of a more expensive phone, with a two-year renewal.
How do you sign up for New Every Two?
You are automatically enrolled in our New Every Two program
when you sign up for a two-year agreement on a calling plan
with a monthly access of $34.99 or higher. If you maintain
service on a calling plan of $34.99 or higher and fulfill
your two-year term, you will qualify for a free phone. If
your calling plan monthly access is $79.99 or higher for the
entire three months prior to completing your New Every Two
phone upgrade, you will get up to $100.00 toward the purchase
of that phone. If your calling plan monthly access was between
$34.99 and $79.98 at any time during the three months prior
to completing your New Every Two phone upgrade, you will get
up to $50.00 toward the purchase of that phone. When completing
your New Every Two upgrade, you will need to renew your agreement
for another two years on a calling plan with a monthly access
of $34.99 or higher.
You must retain the same wireless handset for 24 months in
order to receive the full advantages of this program. If you
choose to replace your handset at a discounted price, you
will forfeit your benefits and be automatically reenrolled
if you meet the requirements of the program.
Information for Existing Customers
If you enrolled in the program on or after 11/25/02, you must
take advantage of the New Every Two offer within six months
of becoming eligible; otherwise, you may be charged full retail
price to upgrade your current handset. Discount amount will
be applied toward the two-year Customer Agreement retail price.
Secondary Family SharePlan® lines are not eligible to
participate in the program. The New Every Two discount cannot
exceed the price of the phone after rebates. If your 2-year
Customer Agreement with a digital calling plan of $34.99 or
higher began on or after 6/02/03, you were automatically enrolled
in the program. Customers who began their two-year agreements
on or after 4/01/00 on a digital calling plan of $35.00 or
higher were also automatically enrolled in the program.
If you enrolled in the program prior to 2/05/06 and continued
to meet the requirements of the program, you will be eligible
for a free phone up to $100, or a credit of up to $100 toward
a more expensive phone, when you become eligible for your
next New Every Two upgrade (after which time you will be enrolled
in the $50/$100 New Every Two program described in the brochure).
New Every Two discount amounts and calling plan tiers subject
to change at Verizon Wireless’ sole discretion.
